Innovation engineered in

Britain.

British Automation is a full-service manufacturing company based in the United Kingdom, creating intelligent hardware and software that connect people, enhance experiences, and bring automation to life across a wide range of industries. Every product is built with precision, purpose, and pride in British innovation.

What drives us.

British Automation began in 2021 with a mission to make automation smarter and more purposeful. What started with compact vending systems has grown into a range of intelligent products serving hospitality, healthcare, retail, and many other sectors.

Every design is created and built in Britain, combining precision engineering with practical innovation. Our goal has always been simple: to create technology that genuinely helps people and strengthens the businesses that use it.

Our evolution.

From a single idea to a connected ecosystem, our journey has been shaped by continual innovation, British manufacturing, and a commitment to making technology practical and intelligent. Every stage of our growth reflects a new step in redefining what automation can achieve.

Digital signage integration.

January 2025

British Automation added digital signage hardware under the Display Kube brand, delivering managed advertising and communication screens fully integrated with The Bridge.

Platform enhancement.

The Bridge received a major update introducing sector-specific dashboards for hospitality, retail, and healthcare. The platform began supporting data-driven marketing tools directly accessible to host venues.

Manufacturing expansion.

August 2025

Production capacity was expanded through new equipment and assembly processes in the UK facility, reinforcing our commitment to local manufacturing and rapid product development.

Healthcare development.

January 2023

British Automation began working with NHS locations to adapt vending technology for healthcare settings. Infection-control features and secure dispensing mechanisms were developed to meet regulatory requirements.

Experiential technology.

March 2023

The first working vending machine was assembled and deployed for testing in a live venue. This marked the transition from concept to product, proving the viability of locally manufactured automation hardware.

Photo Kube launch.

July 2023

Photo Kube was released for hospitality venues nationwide, offering free-to-use digital photo experiences that built marketing databases for participating locations. The success of this model proved the strength of combining hardware, software, and analytics.

Integrated platform planning.

Development began on a unified software system to connect every British Automation device through one control portal. The project would become known as The Bridge.

The Bridge prototype.

March 2024

The first prototype of The Bridge platform went live, enabling cloud-based management, performance tracking, and remote configuration for vending and experiential devices.

Full deployment of The Bridge.

June 2024

After extensive testing, The Bridge was deployed across the national network of Photo Kube and vending systems, introducing real-time analytics, automated updates, and marketing campaign management.

Foundations.

April 2021.

British Automation was established in the United Kingdom with a clear mission: to design and manufacture intelligent automation systems entirely on home soil. Our first prototypes explored compact vending mechanisms and modular control systems.

Experiential technology.

September 2021

The first working vending machine was assembled and deployed for testing in a live venue. This marked the transition from concept to product, proving the viability of locally manufactured automation hardware.

Hospitality rollout.

January 2022

Following positive trials, we began small-scale distribution to bars and nightclubs in South Wales and the West Midlands. This phase introduced remote telemetry, cashless payments, and modular vending trays.

Retail applications.
